In some cases we are unable to perform some treatments. Please read our contraindications below. In medical terms, contraindications are reasons why a treatment isn’t safe or recommended.
General Contraindictions - Body Treatments
Unfortunately, due to safety regulations, we are not able to treat patients with any of the following conditions:
- Bacterial or viral infections, or acute inflammations
- Impaired immune system
- Use of Isotretinoin within the past 12 months
- Scleroderma
- Recent radiation therapy
- Burns in the treatment area
- Poor healing in the treatment area
- Metal implants in or near the treatment area
- Implantable devices (e.g., pacemakers, defibrillators, cardioverters)
- Recent ablative or non-ablative cosmetic treatments (e.g., deep peels) within the past 3 months
- Cancer (active or history of within 5 years)
- Active collagen diseases
- Cardiovascular diseases including:
- Peripheral arterial disease
- Vascular conditions
- Thrombophlebitis or thrombosis
- Pregnancy or undergoing IVF treatment
- Active neuralgia or neuropathy
- Blood disorders or bleeding risks (e.g., peptic ulcers)
- Eczema or rosacea in the treatment area
- Febrile conditions (fever)
- Kidney or liver failure
- Undergoing radiological procedures
- Significant swelling (edema), ascites, or fluid accumulation (exudates)
- Sensory disorders or numbness in the treatment area
- Tuberculosis
- Varicose veins in the treatment area
Contraindictions - VFemme-Reset Vaginal Treatments
Additional Contraindications (Vaginal Laxity or Sexual Dysfunction Treatment):
- Intrauterine device (IUD) in place
- Menstruation
- Postpartum period
- Active sexually transmitted infection (STI)
